Empire Street Productions is an independent production company that is committed to producing quality theatre, film and TV. With experience nationally and internationally it has the ability to develop material from idea to finished production whilst also being able to offer bespoke management/consultancy services to creative partners.

ESP was set up by independent producer James Bierman, to develop and produce work across theatre, television and film. Recent Theatre credits include Sam Shepard's TRUE WEST starring Kit Harington and Johnny Flynn at the Vaudeville Theatre; Tracy Letts’ KILLER JOE at the Trafalgar Studio starring Orlando Bloom; and Samuel D Hunter’s THE WHALE at the Ustinov, Bath. Martin McDonagh's iconic THE PILLOWMAN , directed by Matthew Dunster starring Lily Allen and Steve Pemberton to open in June 2023; Suzie Miller's acclaimed play PRIMA FACIE, directed by Justin Martin, and starring Jodie Comer will transfer to New York in Spring 2023 after a sell out, critically acclaimed run in April 2022 at the Harold Pinter Theatre.

BALLYWALTER, a BFI, Screen Ireland and NIS supported feature film by Stacey Gregg and directed by Prasanna Puwanarajah plays Belfast and Cork Film Festival. THROUGH THE DUNES, a short film starring Ian Hart written & directed by Tim Price is in competition. Documentary THE REAL CHAPLIN, directed by Peter Middleton & James Spinney is on release. ESP are currently developing Film & Television projects with FilmNation, Complete Fiction, EOne and Content Superba.
